Wednesday the 26th of June was a very special day for Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Curragh Camp, as the 6th class graduation ceremony took place. The pupils were joined by their family members to mark this important milestone in their educational journey. The newly established school choir sang a number of hymns and songs beautifully. Some of these included “This is the Day”, “This Little Light of Mine” as well as “Time of your Life”. The 6th class students were presented with their yearbook which included memories of their time in primary school. The 6th class boys sang their graduation song which they worked hard to compose. The ceremony ended with a balloon releasing ceremony. Citizenship and attendance awards were also presented to students on the day in recognition of their achievements throughout the year. Staff and pupils of Scoil Naomh Pádraig wish the 6th class boys the very best of luck as they move onto secondary school. We would also like to wish everyone a very safe, happy and enjoyable summer.

Sport Day at Scoil Naomh Pádraig was a wonderful day! It began with the raising of our new school flag, with an illustration of the school crest. Ben Murphy, our School Captain, was assisted by Brigadier General Seamus O’Giollain (GOC) in raising the flag. Another flag to be raised on our Sports Day was the school’s second Green Flag, awarded for our energy awareness and conservation efforts. The sun shone, the ice-cream man arrived and a magnificent group of young children took part in the Toddlers Race! Congratulations to the Galway team who won the Gaelic Final on sports day, beating Kildare. For our 6th class pupils, this was their final Sports Day with us. We hope they have fond memories of previous Sports Days at Scoil Naomh Pádraig.
