Observational Drawings

The boys, in a recent art lesson, painted an Autumn tree in a step by step process. Today's lesson was a little bit different!
Unfortunately, the windy weather changed our plan for today's lesson a little bit, but as always, there was a plan B. A photograph of the tree which we were supposed to be painting was put up on out white board, and the boys had to do an observational drawing of the tree in our school.

They had to remember that an observational drawing is drawing not what you know, but what you can see in front of you.
