Designing and making masks for Los Dios de Los Meurtos has become a great tradition in our class, and one everyone looks forward to at Halloween each year.

The boys are given their skull template which they will have to draw onto black card, and from there, they will add their symmetrical designs onto their skull using silver pens to make them really stand out.

We looked at a powerpoint of different items which can be seen in Mexico during this traditional holiday - the altars, the breads and the sweets.

Conor from our class, who had been to Mexico a few years ago, brought in a sugar skull which he had got while he was over there. Have a look at it down below! :)
