The children looked at the work of the artist Kandinsky, and talked about the different ways in which he shows colour in his paintings. The children concentrated on making their own concentric circles similar to Kandinsky’s. ![]() We then used the idea of colour and the way in which Kandinsky created his pieces to create a woven square of colour using his technique. These were then turned into flying flags, perfect to suit our English poem of the week “Kites flying in the sky”, and also for our lovely notice board.
