We had lots of fun this Halloween, from learning about where Halloween came from in History - the festival of Samhain - to creating some wonderful pieces in Art Class. We even learned some spooky songs in Music.
Check out some of our art work below, where we looked at the Day Of The Dead festival in Mexico, or Dia de los Muertos, and drew our own Day of the Dead masks for our art noticeboard. Conor in 3rd class, who had been to Mexico on his holidays before, brought us in a real sugar skull from there so that we could see what a sugar skull actually looked like.
We even used maths when working on our masks, making sure there was symmetry in our masks by drawing both sides of the mask the same.
