The children used paint and card to create some wonderful Easter art to bring home with them on Friday - I had to take a picture of some of them before they went home! As it was such a sunny week, we decided to paint some Easter bunnies watching the sun rising in the morning. We then outlined our painting in black paint. Each painting turned out so unique to each child - wonderful pieces!
Happy Easter from all of our class! The children were very excited about the upcoming Easter Break from school - not just because of the days off, but also because of all the fun Easter activities they got to take part in. As well as our usual arts and crafts (check out our fab poster on the left!) , some of them also got the chance to go with Deirdre to the kitchen to cook up some Easter goodies! Melting down chocolate and mixing with some shredded wheat, the children made some birds nests, which they then filled with chocolate eggs, and decorated with baby chicks -scrumptious! The rest of the school was not forgotten - they got to take part in an Easter Egg hunt on the Friday morning before the break. Big thanks to David, our school Easter bunny, who was very kind in offering to dress up for the occasion!
