Step 1:

Roll a ball of clay, about the size of your fist into a sphere with your hands.

Picture
Step 2:

Divide the ball into two hemi-spheres using a clay cutter.

Step 3:

Create a lip on the top of the hemispheres by turning the hemisphere upright and using your fingers to hollow out the center.

Serrate or criss cross the lip of the hemispheres.

Step 4:

Place a little amount of water on the lip so the edges will stay together. Align them / Put them back together carefully, and using your thumb and some water, smooth out the join between the two halves.

Step 5:

create the lines on your pumpkins using the clay cutter again. Do this all around the outside of your pumpkin.

Step 6:

indent the top of the pumpking with your thumb, applying a little pressure. Serrate with the clay cutter again.

Step 7:

to make a stalk, roll out a piece of clay into a sausage shape. Hold it in the middle and gently bang it against the table, and shape it into a four star base. Serrate the base of the star shape based, and using water, apply it to the top of the pumpkin as your stalk.

Step 8:

Paint the stalk green, and the rest of the pumpkin orange.
